LITTLE LEAF
A story about change, loss, and finding your way home.
Every living thing has a story.
Little Leaf is the story of a single leaf ripped from her tree by a cold autumn wind. She is lost and alone until a mysterious voice whispers her fears away.
It is a story of purpose and transformation, and a reminder that we are never alone, that every life has meaning, and that nothing that has ever been loved is ever truly lost.
“A charming meditation on the miracle
of life and the power of transformation.”

The Story Behind Little Leaf
Little Leaf started in 2024 as the story “A Journey of Leaves,” which was a creative writing project for my Bachelor of Metaphysical Sciences. The title came to me in a dream but it was nothing more than the title.
Several months passed before I found a maple leaf during one of my walks with my pup, Lexi. The leaf was on an asphalt path, all alone, with no maple trees anywhere that I could see. I picked up the leaf and brought it home and placed it under a shrub in my front yard so that she could become soil and feed my shrub. After finding the leaf it took less than a week to write “Journey of Leaves.”
In 2026, the idea came to turn “Journey of Leaves” into a children’s book. Writing the book took several months and each word was chosen with care. I hope you enjoy reading Little Leaf as much as I did writing it.
