Meet Lisa Bode, PhD
I am a shamanic practitioner, writer, and life-long student of what lies beyond what we experience as humans. I’m based in Des Moines, Iowa and I founded White Wolf Way as a place to bring together my work in shamanism, consciousness, and writing.
I hold a PhD from the University of Metaphysical Sciences, and my academic work has focused on consciousness, spirituality, and the nature of reality. I am also currently enrolled in the Three-Year Program with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, where I continue my training in core shamanism.
My first book, Little Leaf, was written for my granddaughter Abby. It is a story about change, loss, and finding your way home. I am also writing fiction that explores many of the same questions that interest me in my other work—what happens after we die, whether consciousness continues, and whether there is more to our lives than what we can see.
White Wolf Way brings these different parts of my life together: shamanic practice, writing, consciousness studies, and the resources I create and share.
